Geocache Description:

Kid Friendly series: Devils Nose Jeep Trail

Just East of the Sleepy Creek Wildlife area, this easy cache is located just off of Devils Nose Jeep Trail Lane, and the name is rather appropriate.

This is a short hop from the car so the kids don't have to venture into the woods, but you should always be aware of ticks.

Devils Nose Jeep Trail: #7 of the Kid Friendly series of caches

Reaching North toward the Sleepy Creek preserve, this cache seeks to connect the Mountain Lake Rd / Woods Resort area to the Tuscarora Trail chain of caches.

From Audobon Rd this lane remains fairly tame to the cache, but small cars should not venture any further along this road than the small parking area at the cache, located a short distance after the last house.

This road soon becomes a hunter's trail, but you may continue on foot if you wish to locate the "Find me If You Can" Hunter's cache just North of this location.

The scenery and this connecting path to the Tuscarora Trail itself are both ruggedly beautiful.

Hiking boots are recommended, and you should always be aware of both ticks and mosquitoes.

First To Find Congrats to: Lisa and Joyce !
