Welcome to the Sanders House.
This 1896 Victorian house features gorgeous solid oak woodwork, original wood floors, a hand-painted imported mural, and many of the orginal furnishings. There are nine fireplaces, three floors and a total of 19 rooms.
The grounds include a granary, a smokehouse, a spring house, a railroad museum, The Bailey Log House, and The Rosie Trigg Cottage which houses the Tazewell County Visitors Center.
The Sanders House is a historical treasure located in Tazewell County in the Heart of the Appalachia.
Tours are available April 15th through October 15 by calling (304) 960-0794. Please call for details. The grounds and gardens are free and open every day from dawn until dusk. Congrats to VTEngr for the FTF!!!
