Am südlichen Ortsanfang bzw. Ortsende von Podersdorf fließt der Schrammelkanal in den Neusiedlersee. Einheimische sagen dass er östlich davon in den Weingärten seinen Ursprung bei der Thomasquelle hat.. Über diese Behauptung konnte ich keinen Nachweis finden. Sollte jemand genaueres darüber wissen so wäre ich für Hinweise dankbar.
Geht man vom Cache ein paar Meter den Weg entlang Richtung See so kommt man auf eine kleine Lichtung. Dort findet man je nach Jahreszeit - Fliederbüsche, Hollerstauden, Vogelkirschen, wilde Rosen und Kriecherlbäume.
Bitte nicht weiter als zum Schranken gehen, das Betreten des Nationalparkes ist verboten. Von dort hat man einen Ausblick über das Seeufer, Wasservögek und manchmal grasende Pferde.
Zum Cache: Es handelt sich um eine Filmdose. Er liegt nicht beim Kanal sondern im Trockenen. Genau schauen hilft, aber was rede ich da, jeder Geocacher hat gute Augen. Geht bitte sorgfältig damit um damit er lange erhalten bleibt. Nimm einen Bleistift mit.
Englisch: At the southern end or beginning of Podersdorf the "Schrammelkanal" flows into the Neusiedler lake. The inhabitants mean it comes from the wynyards in the east, from a spring named "Thomasqhelle". I'm not shure about that as I could not find out any facts concerning it's whereabout.
If you follow the path a few meters leading twords the lake, you find depending on the season wild roses and fruit trees. Pleas don't go futher than the barrier - it is not allowed to enter the National Park. From there you have a good view at the lake. You can watch water birds and sometimes even grazing horses.
The Cache: It is not in or near the water but on dry land. I'm shure you have sharp eyes it helps anyway. Please handle the Cache with care.and put it back just as you found it.
