Dog Days is the name for the most sultry period of summer, from about July 3 to Aug. 11. Named in early times by observers in countries bordering the Mediterranean, the period was reckoned as extending from 20 days before to 20 days after the conjunction of Sirius (the dog star) and the sun.
The event will take place at Sonic from 8:00 pm-9:00 pm, rain or shine. There is a seating area or we can hang out in the parking lot. Feel free to come on by and say hello. This event is open to everyone. You are not required to purchase food to attend. There are also plenty of caches in the surrounding area. Come celebrate the beginning of the hottest time of the year. See you there!
P.S. This is also the first day of the Event road trip souvenir.
