Welcome to Medicine Hat and Welcome to Southern Alberta Weekend VI
GET READY FOR FUN!!!
Welcome to Medicine Hat and Welcome to SAW VI! This is where it all begins. This event starts on Friday, August 14th, 2015 at 5:00pm and goes until 6:30pm. Make sure you attend as this is where you will pick up your cache list and voting sheet and get additional information on mapping of SAW VI geocaches.
The Midnight Crash
TDM22 will be hosting the SAWVI Midnight Crash for all the night owls who want to refuel on coffee, have a bite to eat and share some stories. Check out GC5X8GK for more details. Please note venue change from previous years.
SEARCHMH Reboot
After a busy night of caching, and another full day ahead of you, we would love you to start your day bright and early with us! Come join us at the Medicine Hat Tourist Center to fuel up and regroup before heading out again. This event will be held between 8 and 9am. Coffee, beverages, and assorted snacks will be available for you to enjoy at 8:00am to 8:30am. A group photo will be taken in front of the Tourist Center at 8:30am before we go off on our way! The Hokey Pokey - Flash Mob
Do you remember this little diddy from when you were a kid? Well, Navypeople will have you reliving your childhood by hosting the Hokey Pokey Flash Mob on Saturday, August 15th @ 10:45AM. Check out GC5XNH3 for more details and co-ordinates to the secret location.
CARMH 6
CARMH 6 will begin on Saturday, August 15th @5pm and this is where the fun continues to happen. Our hosts, Azrealsportal and TahoeGR_00 have pulled out all the stops who will have a ton of door prizes, cache category prizes, special activities and a whole lot of food. Make sure to bring your Travel Bugs, Geocoins and Tags as you will want to show them off. While the food cooks and the votes are tallied, there will be an opportunity to tell your best geocaching story and to catch up with other geocachers. Check out GC5W82T for more details.
Campfire CITO
Once again this year, we have partnered with the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program. This event will take place on our very last day of SAW VI and will be held at the Nature Centre in Police Point Park. The MHIP is actively involved in the Geocaching world and promote programs to teach others how to correctly use a GPS and seek out the hidden cache.
