To run the cartridge you may use a Garmin Colorado or Oregon, or a pocket PC. Most smart phones and tablets are equipped with GPS receivers and can play Wherigo cartridges. These devices require an app such as WhereYouGo or openwig or WherigoPlayer. If you have difficulty downloading a cartridge directly to your device, you may need to download to a computer first and then copy the file to the device. If the device has a limited memory, you may need to load the cartridge to an SD memory card. There is no charge for the apps or the cartridges.
This Wherigo asks you to help a fellow cacher and visit several nearby locations. Once you get to the end the coordinates to the cache location will be revealed.
You begin the adventure near the entrance of the Parkland Regional Health Center. Keep an eye out for visitor parking spots and use them if you wish to do this on foot. We recommend doing this one on foot for better results. It's not too far of a walk. As you get to each location a new zone will become available to you. You move from one zone to the next until you have earned the coordinates to the geocache. Good luck and thanks for helping Oleg out!
A big thank you to Peter from the "Peter and Gloria" caching duo for sharing the groundwork to help me get started with my first Wherigo cache.
