A log only micro cache near the start of the Rock Shelter Trail. Be sure to "register" your visit to the cache
The Rock Shelter trail starts at North Lake Road and ends at the Escarpment Trail at Badman Cave. The trail is 1.8 miles long and skirts the North-South Lake Campground. This trail allows for good access to Marys Glen, the Escarpment Trail and North Point without having to enter the day use area. The trail passes through a boulder strewn forest and reaches Marys Glen Trail junction in 1.3 miles. There is a nice ledge waterfall here. The trail passes below the falls and then up a ledge to a nice flat level trail. The trail ends at Badman Cave at the junction with the Escarpment Trail.
