Il Riarena (“Riena”) nasce dalle pendici della Cima dell’Uomo ed è il fiume che storicamente fungeva da confine tra i territori di Cugnasco, di Gerra Piano (Gerra/Verzasca) e nella sua parte finale di Locarno .
Se lasci l’autovettura al posteggio indicato, il cache è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in un paio di minuti.

Like many other small rivers, the Riarena acted as a border between the municipalities of Cugnasco, Gerra Piano (Gerra/Verzasca) and Locarno; while now it’s a border between Locarno and the new municipality Cugnasco-Gerra.
From the parking place the cache is only a few minutes away.
