Stage 1- The first ball CAP was made of straw and was worn by the New York Knickerbockers on April 24, 1849.
Stage 2- The firsrt hand SIGNS used in baseball were based on military flag signals that were used during the Civil War. These SIGNS were used by the Cincinnati Reds in 1869. The most important person in the development of these SIGNS was William "Dummy" Hoy, he was the first deaf player in major league baseball.
Stage 3- The final stage is located in Foul territory. This is the area outside of the field of play. Have fun bushwacking! There is a FTF prize.
