Geocache Description:

Enjoy this park at the location that was home to the former Sanatoga Amusement Park that closed in the late 1940's. According to an early souvenir booklet, Sanatoga Park on South Sanatoga Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township had the first roller coaster ride of its kind ever built in any park. It was called The Alpine Dips, and it was nearly a mile in length.. If you continue on the path, you will see some remains from the park (watch for broken glass).
