Cache #11 on the Gizmo Trail is for our dog Oscar. A number of years back my wife was an Assistant Manager at a Sherwood Park pet store and one day she called me from work to tell me to come see the new litter of black labs they just got in. Well I went to check them out, picked one up and held him...he looked at me with his big puppy eyes and I never let him go. That day we added to our pet count. It wasn't the best timing to get a dog and there was a few bumps along the way but we made a commitment to Oscar and we made him a member of this family. He grew up with our two boys and I have many memories of running around the backyard chasing and wrestling with the boys and Oscar!
Fun Fact about Oscar: When Spencer was young he couldn't say "Oscar" so he called our dog "AhKert"...a name we still use today!

Oscar comes with us on many of our geocaching adventures and he even has his own Log My Dog trackable on his collar. He loves all the paths we take him to and any of the other people/pets we meet along the way. He patiently waits as my wife and I search for the caches, usually lying down in the bush or sniffing around and eating grass!

Oscar now is in his senior years but you would never know it by the energy and enthusiasm he shows for life. Many people are fooled by his age as he still acts like a puppy!!
He is starting to slow down and can't go on as long of caching adventures as we once did but he is always ready to go caching! As soon as I start packing up the hiking/caching supplies he watches my every move and starts to whine and follow me all over the house. When we are finally ready to go he rushes out the door and bounces his way to our Rondo looking over his shoulder at me to make sure I am coming!

You are looking for a small, somewhat unique cache that blends in with its host. (although if you have cached for awhile you have probably seen this container before). You are once again on a highly visible path so please use extreme caution and watch out for muggles!!
Please replace the cache as you found it. BYOP.
