"Chouni" is the most famous and "busiest" trail of Mount Parnitha.
It leads from the base of the cable car to the refuge "Bafi" and it is part of the national path No 22.
The total distance is about 6 km with an altitude difference of about 700 meters.
It is very well marked with red square in white frame.

THE CACHE
The cache is located about 4,5 km from the beginning of the path, if you start from the base of the cable car.
It is placed at the junction of paths leading to Flambouri and Casino respectively.
Combining with the other caches in the path, it is a good opportunity to cross the "Chouni" either uphill or downhill.
Since many hikers and runners are visiting the trail, you should be careful not to be noticed by them.
The cache is a small cylindrical tube which initially contains logbook, geocaching decalration in Greek and English, a small handmade FTF gift and some small items for exchange
PLEASE!!! Replace the log book and the cache as found for their protection, due to the bad weather conditions in the area. Tighten the cover!

Η "Χούνη" είναι το πιο γνωστό και πολυσύχναστο μονοπάτι της Πάρνηθας.
Οδηγεί από την βάση του τελεφερίκ προς το καταφύγιο Μπάφι και αποτελεί κομμάτι του εθνικού μονοπατιού 22.
Η συνολική διαδρομή είναι περίπου 6χλμ με υψομετρική διαφορά περίπου 700 μέτρα.
Είναι πολύ καλά σηματοδοτημένο με κόκκινο κόκκινο τετράγωνο σε λευκό πλαίσιο.

Η ΚΡΥΠΤΗ
Η Κρύπτη βρίσκεται περίπου στο 4,5 χλμ , εάν ξεκινήσετε από την βάση του τελεφερίκ.
Είναι τοποθετημένη στο σημείο όπου διασταυρώνονται τα μονοπάτια που οδηγούν στο Φλαμπούρι και στο Καζίνο.
Συνδιάζοντας με τις υπόλοιπες κρύπτες του μονοπατιού, είναι μια καλή ευκαιρία να διασχίσετε την Χούνη είτε ανηφορικά , είτε κατηφορικά.
Λόγω των πολλών πεζοπόρων και δρομέων, θα πρέπει να είστε προσεκτικοί για να μη γίνετε αντιληπτοί.
Η κρύπτη είναι ένας μικρός κυλινδρικός σωλήνας που αρχικά περιέχει logbook , geocaching decalration στα ελληνικά και στα Αγγλικά, ένα FTF δωράκι και μερικά μικρά αντικείμενα για ανταλλαγή.
ΠΑΡΑΚΑΛΩ!!! επανατοποθετήστε το log book και την cache όπως τα βρήκατε για την προστασία τους, λόγω των δύσκολων καιρικών συνθηκών που επικρατούν στο σημείο. Κλείστε σωστά το καπάκι !!!
