After our first visit in Agia Galini in 2013 we decided 2015 to place a Geocache on the top of the "House Mountain" of Agia Galini. It's the Vouvala mountain wich is over 900 m high with an antenna on it's top.
You can rech the geocache by parking in the small village of Melampes. You can also start in Agia Galini but this wold be really hard. I started in Melampes and tested several ways to the top. If you follow the given Waypoints you will reach the geocache on the shortest and fastest way.
On the top you've got a great view to Agia Galini and the south coast of crete. You also have a great panorama on the Ida Mountains.
