Although all six tunnels go under SH6, none are accessible from SH6. You'll need to park on side roads. A bike is a good way to get around the first four waypoints.
- A = number of concrete slabs in the ceiling (WP1)
- B = height of tunnel according to the sign (WP2)
- C = number of channels water passes through under the bridge (WP2)
- D = height of tunnel according to the sign (WP3)
- E = number of end-caps on the horizontal bars on the metal fence at the inlet end of tunnel (the fence separates the path from the stream) (WP3)
- F = number of nuts securing the fence described above (WP3).
- G = number of full width concrete slabs in the ceiling; count all except the very narrow one (WP4)
- H = number of lights inside cages in the tunnel (WP4)
- I = number of vertical posts on the metal fences that separate the path from the water; the fences extend for a few metres beyond each end of the tunnel. (WP4)
- J = number of concrete slabs that make up the path through the tunnel; don't count the small ramp at the saleyards end (WP5)
- K = total number of drainage holes at head-ish height (both sides of the tunnel) (WP6)
The cache can be found at S 41 22.xxx E 173 06.yyy where xxx and yyy are calculated as follows:
xxx = (F - E) * (K * C + H + (I - 1) / C)
yyy = (A + J + 1) * (G + H) * D + B * 10
The checksum for the 6 digits xxx and yyy is 36.
The cache is a 200ml sistema, and is knee / thigh kind of height. The objects concealing the cache should be pretty obvious, and easily spotted from a few metres away. Please rehide the cache well.
