"THE HALL" is a great community gathering place. A few years ago this building was almost torn down. Instead it was completly redone inside and is used as a youth building for the Overisel Reformed Church youth groups. The outside was also overhauled. We now have a nice community park. You can play volleyball and soccer. There is a 9 hole disc golf course on the grounds, beautiful fire pit area. (still in the process of being done, (it is my son's eagle project) hopefully completed by this Fall. A picnic area and a small playground. This past winter we built a broom ball court that was used by the youth groups often. The building can be rented out for lots of activities like Graduation Open Houses, Christmas Parties, Family Reunions, Wedding and Baby Showers, Weddings. You name it, it's being rented out. There are also several Zumba classes held here throughout the year. So, what almost ended up as nothing, turned out to be a great addition to the Overisel Community. Every June there is a big community picnic with fellowship, food, music and lots of games for kids and adults alike.
