Geocache Description:

Placed near a residential area. Please cache only during daylight hours.

I'm giving a program on geocaching to a group I belong to. The meeting will be held right near the paved trailhead. Perfect. Scouting a hiding place for a cache... what do I find? A cache container from a cache which was archived in 2010 when the owner moved away (GC1TVWG). It was fun to read the logs from that cache and recognize so many names. No suprise to me that FTF and STF were Scouting4Ever and 2nd1of3. In honor of the original cache I've kept the cache name and I'm using the original container which is still in great shape. The log is Rite In the Rain paper.

The cache is near a peaceful little creek. The real challenge here is finding the correct access.

Look at the old bridge if you want, but please do not cross it. It is apparently on private property.

Congratulations to 2nd1of3 for his 432nd FTF!
