The design of the route insignia is intended to evoke Blacktown's vibrant
heritage a spirit. The two insignia have been sited on significant points along
the officialy designated "Olympic Routes" between Aquilina Reserve, Horsley
park and the railway stations at Doonside and Blacktown.
