Join us at the Group area to celebrate Nova Scotia Parks Day. We will be having a geocaching event and a few demonstration caches to show how geocaching is done. There are some geocaches in the park to find as well.
At 1:30PM we will hold a brief Intro to Geocaching to help explain what Geocaching is all about.
We will also be explaining the NS Parks Geocaching Passport Series.
The day will consist of finding some hidden Geocaches and some socializing. Please wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and footwear that will allow some walking briefly off trail. Please bring sunscreen as well. If you have a GPS bring it along, if not we are trying to have some for you to try.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event will run rain or shine.
