Seehof Traditional Cache

Das Naherholungsgebiet Vigiljoch hat eine lange Tradition. Bereits 1912, mit der Erbauung Europas zweitälteste Schwebeseilbahn, entdeckten betuchte Bürger des Burggrafenamtes und Meraner Kurgäste das Vigiljoch als touristische Ausflugziel. 
Mit den beiden Weltkriegen kam es zu einer Rezession, die bis in die 50er Jahre anhielt. 
Mit der Erneuerung der Bahn 1952 konnte sich das Naherholungsgebiet langsam erholen.
2006 wurde die Seilbahn noch einmal vollkommen erneuert und befördert jährlich 90.000 Gäste aufs Vigiljoch. 
Neben dem Vigilius Mountain Resort gab es noch einige Restaurants und Gasthäuser, die zum Verweilen einladen, unter Anderem der "Seehof".
Er ist jedoch vor einigen Jahren geschlossen worden und das gesamte Areal wurde an einen Privaten Investor verkauft. 
Dieser Investor wollte ursprünglich das Hotelvolumen verlegen und in mehrere kleine Wohneinheiten zerstückeln, die unterirdisch durch einen Beautybereich verbunden waren.
Mehrere vorgelegte Planungen fanden jedoch von Seiten der zuständigen Behörden, vor Allem des Landschaftschutzes, keine Zustimmung. Bis zum heutigen Tag steht immer noch das ursprüngliche Gebäude und wurde nicht umgebaut, es ist jedoch auch nicht mehr geöffnet.

L'area ricreativa di Monte San Vigilio ha una lunga tradizione. Già nel 1912, con la costruzione di cabinovia seconda più antica d'Europa, cittadini danarosi del Burgraviato e ospiti termali di Merano hanno scoperto Monte San Vigilio come destinazione turistica.
Con le due guerre mondiali, ci fu una recessione che durò fino agli anni '50. 
Con il rinnovo della guida 1952, l'area ricreativa è stato in grado di recuperare lentamente.
Nel 2006 la funivia è stata rinnovata completamente e ogni trasporta in ca. 90.000 persone all`anno sul Monte San Vigilio.
Oltre al Vigilius Mountain Resort, cerano vari ristoranti e locande che invitavano a soffermare, tra cui anche il "Seehof".
Ha, tuttavia, il "Seehof" è stato chiuso alcuni anni fa e l'intera area è stata venduta ad un investitore privato.
Questo investitore originariamente voluto riposizionare il volume dell'hotel e tagliarlo in più piccole unità che dovevano essere collegati sottoterraneamente con una zona beauty tra di loro.
Sono stati presentati vari piani, ma nessuno di quelli è stato accettato dalla parte delle autorità competenti, in particolare la tutela del paesaggio. Fino ad oggi il pallazzo è rimasto quello originale e non è stato ricostruito. Pure è rimasto chiuso come già anni fà.
