After the closing of Kittanning High School, I decided I would place a cache in honor of this school, where I attended the 2013-14 school year for 9th grade and the 2014-15 school year for 10th grade. I chose the location of the first stage and the title because of the high school's Alma Mater.
By the winding Allegheny, there's a spot that we adore.
We pledge our faith to alma mater and our love forever more.
Of friendships made in our dear high school, binding ties shall always stand;
so here's a toast to ole' Kittanning --the best school in all the land.
The first stage is located in Kittanning Riverfront Park, and you are not looking for a container, just coordinates. Please be mindful of muggles around both stages of the cache. The second stage is located near the football field along the trail, or you can pull off the road right next to the cache. You will need tweezers or another tool like that to get the log out of this stage of the cache. During football season, Friday nights will bring many muggles to the area of this stage.
