Qui a spiaggia dei Maronti si può sperimentare le fumarole (vapore caldo di essere rilasciato) dalla terra "da vicino". Questo composto principalmente da gas di acqua e anidride carbonica sono belle lungo crepe molto profonde portata che attraversano l'intera isola. Si stima che le camere magmatiche sono 3 km di profondità nel terreno.
A piedi o in barca taxi da S. Angelo, è possibile raggiungere questa parte del Marontistrandes bene. Bus 1, CD o CS.
Avanti il waypoint specificato è possibile conoscere ed ammirare ancora di più una fumarola "addomesticata".

Here at Maronti beach you can experience the fumaroles (hot steam being released) from the ground "up close". Hier am Marontistrand kann man die Fumarolen (heiße Dampfaustritte) aus dem Erdreich "hautnahe" erleben. Diese hauptsächlich aus Wasser und Kohlendioxyd bestehenden Gase befinden sch entlang sehr tiefreichender Risse, die die ganze Insel durchziehen. Geschätzt wird, dass sich die Magmaherde 3 km tief im Erdreich befinden.
Zu Fuß oder mit dem Taxiboot von St. Angelo aus kann man diesen Teil des Marontistrandes gut erreichen. Buslinie 1, CD oder CS.
Nächst dem angegebenen Wegpunkt kann man sich näherer darüber informieren und noch eine "gezähmte" Fumarole bestaunen.
Logbedingungen: Begib dich zu den Headerkoords und beantworte folgende Fragen:
1. Du stehst direkt vor dem abgesperrten Bereich. Wie heiß können hier die Fumarolen werden?
2. Beschreibe den Untergrund: Farben, Korngröße, wie fühlt er sich an ...?
3. Was befindet sich links und rechts von den Fumarolen?
