GPC was one of the first four non-profit Saskatchewan Regional Colleges that were a pilot project started by the government in 1973. At that time, it was known as Cypress Hills College and had a number of rural locations. In 2008, Cypress Hills College and Prairie West Regional College merged voluntarily and became Great Plains College.
Today, there are seven regional colleges in Saskatchewan. They offer a wide variety of post-secondary education, skills and safety training, adult basic education and English language training programs. And, regularly host fun events.
Please enjoy this GPC geocache and leave us a note in the logbook. There will be swag stuffed into the cache regularly. Check back often :)
