sunsetkids: Went to check on cache today and look at the cement ship. Spoke with park rangers and they asked nicely if we could remove the cache from the park, stating that they really don't like them being in state parks, so we made the decision to archive our one and only cache per their request.

Geocache Description:


Note: Cache is located in Seacliff State Beach which has a $10 Day Use parking fee. Hours for finding this cache are until 8pm. There is parking up on the streets above Seacliff and stairs down to the park and the cement ship, if you are not spending the day at the beach.

This cache was originally place by #1 geobears.  This was one of the first caches that Mr, SK and I spent many trips trying to find.   Cache is a little different than original, but still the same general area. The difficulty level is set because of high muggle traffic.

Note on original cache page:

"It is at this point that everyone touches the wall and heads back. We never seem to get tired of walking this beach path. Sunsets are beautiful here. Cache is a sign only. Bring pen. Stealth is a must."
