After a great event last year, we're back at Caerphilly Snack Bar! - Friday 14th August 2015 (2-3pm)
Come and meet geocachers new and old for informal chat about geocaching, grab a snack and maybe take a walk to grab a couple of hides in the local area. There's an undercover bit if it's raining but maybe bring an umberella just in case.
The meet up starts at 2pm and will last an hour. I'd love to get a group photo which I hope to take near the end of the hour.
Transport
There is a limited number of spaces at the snack bar so, if possible, please car share or walk to the venue.
TB Race
To enter the race, all you need is a Travel Bug with zero miles and for it to start from the event cache. If you have one ready, consider dropping it into the cache before the day so we can see the inventory (or you can do that on the day).
I have 5 'Robot Wars' trackables to race. There will be a draw to choose 4 people (I want to race one) which you then release into the wild. Whoever has the furthest travelled TB by the next Monster event next year will win a Geocaching goody bag! The winning TB will be determined by the number of miles travelled. To choose the 4 TB competitors names will be put into a hat and drawn at random near the end of the event.
This should be a bit of fun and something to look forward and track throughout the year!

The competition ends at the start of the event next year when we see which one has gone the furthest! Will any survive until then?!
