Heyerdahl Family who settled here in Colonial times did not have to luxury of GPS they needed to relay on other navigation tools like topographic maps and compasses. Lucky for you, most GPS' and or Smart Phone have these functions too. I hope you know how to use them.
This is a simply two stage multi; a multi is a geocache will more than one location. For this cache you will find a container with no log but with instructions in it. Your first task will be to understand the instruction and then carry them out, that will lead you to the final locations.
The special skill you will need for this cache is the knowledge of how to navigate with a compass, how to take a barring and count your paces. Your phone and GPS will do this but I find it easier to bring along a simple map compass.
