One of my brother’s big ambitions in life has always been to open his own boutique restaurant.
He is a very accomplished chef and has worked in several high class restaurants and previously owned his own gourmet pancake parlour.
Given the choice he would definitely open a rôtisserie (you know with those rotating grills) somewhere in the country side.
This cache is dedicated to my brother.
I wonder what great menu options he would invent. I reckon with his skills these dishes would be consumed until the last morsel.
Scaloppine and Entrecôte with Green pepper sauce served with Gratin potatoes, Radish, Arugula, Parsnips and Spanish onion
Haricot vert mash on T-bone steak, accompanied by Peas, Carrots, Capsicum and Mushrooms with Potato salad and Spinach
Snapper and Scallops sprinkled with Dill and a Hollandaise sauce on a bed of Saffron rice with Eggplant, Pumpkin and Turnips
Imu pig with Indian spices, Roti, Pappadum, Green curry sauce, Naan bread, Mint sauce and Biryani rice
Sirloin steak with Napolitano sauce and Avocado on a bed of Kipfler potatoes and selection of Mandarines, Mango, Banana and Kiwi fruit
Garam masala chicken and Egg noodles with Eggplant, Zucchini, Carrot, Sautéed onion, Bok choi and Ginger
Spatchcock chicken and Turkey with Pommes noisette, Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower, Tomatoes and Broccoli, served with a Cranberry sauce
Mint infused pork medallion and Tandoori lamb with CousCous mixed with Raisins, Parsley, Nuts and Orange peel, served with a Saffron sauce
