The Stratton Mountain area is a great place to get away from the "hustle and bustle" of life. You can never run out of places to explore in the Green Mountains. The beauty is phenomenal!
Forest Road 83 is a dead end road in the Green Mountain National Forest that takes you several miles out to many primitive camping sites. There are also hiking trails that continue on after the road stops. As well as a couple caches.
This guy is "hanging" on not too far from the FR83 sign.
