How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

This is a multi cache based in and around the Yeni Erinkoy to Dipkarpaz road (again!) both on the new and the old now disused road. The cache is not at the published co-ordinates but you will have to visit this location to collect the co-ordinates for the final GZ which is a short car drive away, less than 2 miles

Park at the parking co-ordinates and head up the track for about 500 metres. DON'T be tempted to drive up unless you are in a strong 4x4, the track is in terrible condition. First you willl come to a deserted chruch (worth a quick look) the building you are looking for is about 150 metres behind and above it. The way in is thorny and prickly, shorts are not advised. As always keep a sharp eye out for snakes Our American cousins tell us "don't put your hand where your eyes haven't been" The container you are looking for is a small plastic one beneath a rock in one of the rooms in the ruined house, probably abandonded during the troubles 1963 - 1974. Good hunting.
