Geocache Description:

The park was officially opened on Monday 5th November by the Wollongong City Lord Mayor Councillor Gordon Bradbury OAM and the Commissioner for Children and Young People, Megan Mitchell. Following closely was the announcement that the park was the winner of both the President’s Choice Award and the Planning for Children and Young People Award at the Planning Institute of Australia’s 2012 Awards for Excellence.
