Another in our Kiskayo Trail series. The trail actually extends NE along this scenic road above Long Lake. Although most of the lake is surrounded by private land, a public road allowance allows you to walk about 200 meters down to the lake (and the cache). There is no need to cross private land.
The Kiskayo Trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail system. It's route follows the shore of Pigeon Lake and passes through numerous summer villages. It then leaves Pigeon Lake and continures NE towards this cache.
As long as the snow is less than knee high (hint), this should be an easy find year-round. You're looking for a large camo'd PB jar and you should not have to go more than a couple of meters into the bush to find it.
