Geocache Description:

This cache has been approved by the City of Airdrie Parks Department.  My thanks to the Parks staff for their support.   Please be respectful of the park environment.

While enjoying a stroll around East Lake,  a variety of bird life, plants and animals can be enjoyed in this scenic area.  This includes Canada Geese, Ducks, Red Necked Grebes, Red Winged Blackbirds and an occasional Blue Heron.  Muskrat can be seen frequently swimming along the shoreline.

Bull Rushes surround the lake dotted between Pine, Willow and Poplar.

Button and Toonie included for FTF. Congrats to Safari Cachers and UBOFF on FTF!

Note-Trackables/Travel Bugs are personal property and should not be permanently retained by the finder. Often these have sentimental value for the owner and have covered great distances. Move and log as per official Geocache guidelines.
