Geocache Description:

Park at the shooting range at Canaan Valley Ski resort. Walk uphill on the gravel road until you find the Bald Knob Trail Head. Enjoy this nice stroll uphill enhanced with beautiful scenery and amazing views; best enjoyed in spring, summer, and fall time.

 

 

This is a great cache with rewarding views! Starting from the shooting range parking lot at Canaan Valley Ski Resort it will take 20-30  minutes of walking to this cache. Once you find the cache be sure to continue on the path and enjoy the Bald Knob overlook! One of my favorite in WV. Be sure to hit up the other geocaches nearby! Email ELYJ83@gmail if this needs maintenance. This hike is a family favorite, and we hope you enjoy it too! This is kid friendly; our 3 year can do it with a little assistance.

This cache is located right along the trail behind a large rock! If you passed the red gate then you went to fall!
