The terrrain is dirt trails, prairie grasses, hills, and rocks. The geography of the area is quite varied and pretty impressive. The cache is just a few feet from the trail and not far from parking. This paraticular cache is not related to the well known Plains Bison or the lesser known Wood Bison.
There are a dozen or so caches out on the prairie, most of which require leaving the trail for +/- 100 feet.
The cache might not be available during the winter due to snow.
