LA ROCCA DI SOLFERINO
A distanza da Peschiera del Garda a circa 15 chilometri si trovano pittoreschi Solferino. Ecco alcune attrazioni speciali, tra cui "La Rocca", una torre risalente al 1022.
Queeste torre quadrata con una altezza di 23 metri si trova nello stesso parco, il Parco della Rocca.
Abbiamo iniziato la nostra passeggiata nel parco, dove c'è un bel sentiero a piedi vi porterà in cima alla collina Più dalmata. Per fortuna abbiamo camminato per lo più in ombra, perché era durante la nostra visita nel mese di luglio circa 35 ° C!
Una volta in cima abbiamo visto la torre quadrata, che ci piacerebbe visitare con la nostra guida. All'interno siamo stati subito affascinati dagli interni unici de "La Rocca". Quello che mi ha colpito è stata la scala di legno, senza passaggi che ci portano al tetto.
Durante la nostra scalata alla cima abbiamo ottenuto la spiegazione necessaria della nostra guida che parla inglese. Ha detto con passione e conoscenza della storia di questa particolare torre. Lungo la strada c'era un sacco di ammirare sulle pareti.
Uno dei tanti elementi che si possono trovare in questo piccolo museo.
Siamo venuti regolarmente a una finestra in cui, dato che eravamo più alto nella torre, ha avuto un altro bel panorama dei dintorni. Purtroppo era il caldo un po 'di nebbia al di fuori, ma nonostante questo si potrebbe ancora guardare molto lontano.

Nella parte superiore vi è una sorta di terrazza dove si ha un panorama a 360 ° sulle colline moreniche del lago di Garda, le Alpi e la Pianura Padana agli Appennini.
Da qui è anche possibile vedere la menzogna Piazza Castello. Questa era la nostra prossima destinazione dopo aver visitato la torre soprannominata "Spia d'Italia '

LA ROCCA DI SOLFERINO
Op zo’n 15 kilometer rijden van Peschiera del Garda heb je het pittoreske Solferino liggen. Hier heb je enkele speciale bezienswaardigheden waaronder “La Rocca”, een toren die dateert uit 1022.
Deze vierkante toren met een hoogte van 23 meter is gelegen in het gelijknamige park, Parco della Rocca.
Wij begonnen onze wandeling in dit park, waar er een mooi wandelpad je naar de top van deze Morenische heuvel brengt. Gelukkig wandelden we grotendeels in de schaduw, want het was er tijdens ons bezoek in de maand juli zo’n 35°C!
Eenmaal boven zagen we de vierkante toren die we samen met onze gids zouden bezoeken. Binnen waren we meteen gecharmeerd door het bijzondere interieur van “La Rocca”. Wat opviel was de houten trap zonder treden, die ons tot het dak zou brengen.
Tijdens onze klim naar boven kregen we de nodige uitleg van onze Nederlandstalige gids. Zij vertelde met veel passie en kennis over de geschiedenis van deze bijzondere toren. Onderweg viel er ook heel wat te bewonderen aan de muren.
Een van de vele voorwerpen die je in dit kleine museum kan terugvinden.
Regelmatig kwamen we een venster tegen waar je, naarmate we hoger in de toren waren, een steeds mooier panorama had over de omgeving. Helaas was het door de hitte een beetje nevelig buiten, maar ondanks dit konden we toch nog heel ver kijken.
EEN GEWELDIG UITZICHT!
Helemaal boven er is een soort van dakterras waar je een 360° panorama hebt over de Morenische heuvels, van het Gardameer tot de Alpen en van de Povlakte tot de Apennijnen.
Vanaf hier kan je ook het Piazza Castello zien liggen. Dit was onze volgende bestemming na het bezoek aan deze toren met als bijnaam ‘Spia d’Italia’ (de Spion van Italië)

We markeerden op Google Maps het wandelingetje van de plaats waar we onze wagen parkeerden (Via Valeggio, 1-3, 46040 Solferino MN, Italië) tot de toren (Spia of Italia Fortress, Via Vicinale del Castello, 46040 Solferino MN, Italië).
Het is helemaal niet ver, maar wel stevig klimmen waardoor het toch wel eventjes wandelen is (zeker bij de temperaturen die wij moesten trotseren!)
