This cache is part of the bird puzzle series Shelly and I are putting together. Each cache will have a code that you will need to write down in order to find the puzzle. This is a family-friendly series. Shelly and I ( and a few birds), have made some very cool containers and have tried to make them as close to the listed birds natural nesting/habitat as possible. We hope you enjoy listening to and catching glimpses of the beautiful birds out here!
The Baltimore Oriole is the state bird of Maryland. It is orange in color with a black hood. They make their nests at the end of a drooping branch 20-30 in the air.Their nest resembles a pouch 4-6 inches long suspended from a forked branch and woven with long plant fibers. The Baltimore Oriole prefers decidous woodlands where shade trees grow, but you will often see them in some backyards. They love to visit hummingbird feeders and take offers of cut oranges and grape jelly.
Please take care retrieving and replacing this container. It is HIGHLY Suggested that you bring bug spray. Until I can get out to change the code, add 1 digit to the # you see here
