This area is very unique in that all the streets are named after states. Can you imagine living on California Street in California (the state)? Teaching my daughter that New York is a city, a state, AND a street has been a challenge indeed!
As a side note, it might be fun to drive around the area and see how many states you can find. Yes, there is even Hawaii!
