The Al Bungard Conservation Area is named for former Chatham County Engineer Al Bungard. He was responsible for many projects that impact us daily; Truman Parkway, multiple flood/drainage mitigation projects, and this fine park.
Remember, park hours are from 8:00 AM til 5:00 PM (a large gate gets locked).
Do NOT go to the posted coordinates to play this WhereIGo. You will on the highway. Please read the cache page, you can play this cartridge anywhere and get the final location.
PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR FINAL COORDS WITH THE CO BEFORE SEARCHING. I am having issues with the WIG giving the wrong Final Coordinates.
This being a wherigo geocache you will need to download and play the wherigo cartridge that is located at the Related Web Page link at the top this page. The wherigo is a simple puzzle but a pencil and paper may help. The wherigo cartridge is of the play anywhere variety meaning you may play it anywhere you like as long as you have 150 feet of open space all the way around you that you can wander around in.
