BUCKS LAKESHORE TOUR!
I've been visiting the Bucks Lake area for years. Camping at all of the campgrounds, including Lower Bucks, and Grizzly Forebay. Found most of the caches in the area with SuJoJeepers, and helped with the placement of a few as well.
I've seen the lake at it's very highest, but hopefully never at it's lowest.
It's 17 miles of shoreline offers many beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and forests, as well as plenty of exercise if you choose to paddle.
I thought it was time to place a few caches to share some of the fun we've had touring the lakeshore.
All the caches are hanging Bison tubes like the one in the background photo.
They have been placed keeping in mind how high this lake can get if we are blessed with the winters that we've gotten in the past.
While almost all can be reached by hiking, I think by watercraft can be the most fun.
