The 2015 Cache Your Way program is over but the cache remains for the fun of it!
About
There is a short hiking trail on site. The trail provides fishing access to the Piscasaw. A shelter is available for rental for parties of more than 15 people. Families, groups under 15 people or picknickers can use the shelter on a first come first served basis if there are no reservations. A small group (up to 25 people) rustic campground is also available for rent.
Northern Leopard Frogs
The Northern Leopard Frog is a large frog and can get up to 4.3 inches long. It can be green to brown in color with large dark circular spots on its back, sides and legs. Each spot is normally bordered by a lighter ring. They have a pair of dorsolateral folds starting from the back of the eye and run parallel to each other down their back. These folds are lighter or occasionally pinker in color.
The Northern leopard frog is preyed upon by several animals – snakes, raccoons, other frogs and even humans. Unlike some other species of frogs, they do not produce distasteful skin secretions.
