Bring a pen for the waterproof log paper. Typical shoreline hide. Do not try to get here by land. Rated D3 for now, as it was hard to get a solid reading here. Widen your search if necessary.
We really miss the old one lane "noisy" steel deck bridge. that used to be upriver from here on Milton Ave; it deteriorated to the point that it had to be replaced a few years ago and we do admit that this one is better with 2 lanes for traffic. A sign from the old bridge is now at the Riverfront Park just up the road, across from the lumber store.
See GC3QNA0 - Away From the Dam for access information and a short history of the dam. The dam shouldn't be a concern, except perhaps if the river is high and flowing over it. Keep to the south shore when you return and you'll be well away from it.
