Geocache Description:

Welcome to Owlsburg!

Owlsburg was a group of buildings at Ohio 235 and old U.S. 30 in OrangeTownship.
A sawmill on the southeast corner housed a large number of owls, and the name was taken by a tavern on the northeast corner, still called the Owlsburg Bar & Restaurant, although it is now closed.
A one-room schoolhouse in Orange Township was known as the Sawmill School, or Orange Township School 8, or the Owlsburg School. — Mark Donaldson, Hancock Historical Museum.--From The Findlay Courier, July 20, 2015, with corrections by me.
