La Punta Cornour (2.868 m s.l.m.), detta anche Cournour, è una montagna delle Alpi Cozie, situata lungo lo spartiacque tra la val Germanasca e la val Pellice. Dalla parte della val Germanasca domina la conca dei 13 Laghi sopra l'abitato di Prali.
Sulla vetta su un pilastro in ferrotriangolare è collocato il punto geodetico della rete primaria IGM denominato 067905 Punta Cornour.

Accesso: Partenza dalla stazione della Seggiovia dei 13 Laghi a Ghigo di Prali; da qui si può scegliere se salire per sentiero verso il Vallone dei 13 Laghi (ca 2.5 ore) o prendere la seggiovia.
Una volta raggiunto il Vallone dei 13 Laghi, si prosegue seguendo le indicazioni per la Punta Cialancia; in corrispondenza del bivio per il Lago Rametta (o dei cannoni, ved. cache degli amici Jack&Marty), si piega a destra verso il Lago Nero. A questo punto il percorso diventa decisamente più impegnativo, si segue una traccia di sentiero in parte sulla cresta detritica, in parte poco sotto e attraverso una pietraia verso SO.
Tempi: Dalla stazione di arrivo a monte della seggiovia calcolate ca 30 minuti per raggiungere ed attraversare la conca dei 13 laghi e ca 1 ora e 15 minuti per la salita in vetta.

Godetevi il paesaggio dei 13 laghi ed in vetta la vista sulle cime circostanti ma sopratutto l'effetto vis à vis con il signor Monviso!


The Punta Cornour (2.868 m a.s.l.), also called Cournour, is a mountain in the Cottian Alps, situated along the watershed between Germanasca valley and Pellice valley. On the side of the Germanasca valley it dominates the basin of 13 Lakes above the town of Prali.
On the tip on a triangular pillar i splaced the geodetic point "067905 Punta Cornour" of the IGM (Italian Military Geographic Institute).

Access: Departure from the station of the chairlift of the 13 lakes in Ghigo of Prali; from here you can choose to go up the path to the Valley of the 13 lakes (about 2.5 hours) or take the chairlift.
Once you reach the Valley of the 13 Lakes, continue following the signs for Punta Cialancia; at the junction to Lake Rametta (also called cannon lake , visit Jack and Marty's cache) ), turn right towards Lago Nero
. At this point the path becomes more challenging, you have to follow the trail which is partly on the crest made of debris, in part just below it towards south-west.
Time: From the arrival station of the chairlift calculate about 30 minutes to reach the valley of the 13 lakes and about 1 hour and 15 minutes to climb to the summit.

Enjoy the landscape of the 13 lakes and and the view from the top on the surrounding peaks, but especially in case of good weather the emotion to be face to face with Mr. Monviso!


Die Punta Cornour (2.868 m ü.d.M.), auch Cournour genannt, ist ein Berg in den Cottischen Alpen, entlang der Wasserscheide zwischen dem Pellice Tal und dem Germanasca Tal. Auf der Seite des Germanasca Tals beherrscht sie das Becken der 13 Seen oberhalb der Stadt Prali.
Auf der Bergspitze auf einem dreieckigen Pfeiler ist die geodätische Vermessungspunkt "067905 Punta Cornour" des IGM (Italienischen Geografischen Militär Instituts) platziert.

Zustieg: Von der Talstation der Sesselbahn der 13 Laghi in Ghigo di Prali; von hier aus könnt Ihr wählen das Tal der 13 Seen in ca ca. 2,5 Stunden zu Fuss zu erreichen oder mit dem Sessellift hoch zu fahren.
Sobald Ihr das Tal der 13 Seen erreicht habt, der Beschilderung nach Punta Cialancia folgen; an der Kreuzung zum Lago Rametta (auch Kanonen-See genannt, dort findet Ihr einen weiteren Cache von Jack&Marty), rechts in Richtung des Lago Nero abbiegen. An diesem Punkt wird der Weg etwas schwieriger. Folgt dem Pfad der teilweise auf dem Kamm, teilweise knapp daunter und über Geröllfeld in Richtung Süd Westen führt.
Dauer: Von der Bergstation der Sesselbahn kalkuliert etwa 30 Minuten um das Tal der 13 Seen zu erreichen und ca. 1 Stunde und 15 Minuten, um zum Gipfel zu steigen.

Genießt die Landschaft des Tales der 13 und von oben auf die umliegenden Gipfel, aber vor allem bei freier Sicht werdet Ihr Angesicht zu Angesicht mit Herrn Monviso sein!
