Geocache Description:

This is a revisit of a cache, which was in the Faded Markers Series. It is a nice cemetary and thought it needed to be "reborn". This series will mainly focus on older, near forgotten burial plots of pioneers in the Niagara Region and beyond. The goal of this series is not necessarily the length of the walk nor the difficulty of the find, but rather a simple reverence for those who came before us to shape our area.

A beautifully unknown and rremote cemetery in the Niagara Region, the Hostetter-Cooke plot is also known as the Jarrow Road Cemetery,, although there is no access from Jarrow Road.

Unfortunately, I could only locate one remaining headstone, which has fallen and is now illegible.

There is a plaque at the cemetary which documents the history of the Hostetters and Cookes, so I won't include that information here, that will leave something for you to read upon reaching the cache.

The cache is a small camo'd pill container containing only a logbook and a toonie for the FTF.

Suggested parking and the trailhead have been waypointed for your convenience.

Have fun and happy caching!
