Burlos: Due to this geocache / location being temporarily disabled for some time now because of flooding, we have decided to archive it for safety reasons, and re-establish the container nearby.

We have re-placed the geocache container nearby, but it is outside the geocaching.com "Update co-ordinates" guidelines, so we will submit it as a new one.

Anyone who has found this one in it's current location is welcome to find it in it's new location.

Thank you for finding this, and for your time posting logs, we have really enjoyed reading what you have thought of this!

How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Operated during peak holiday periods by the local Lions Club as a "Driver Reviver" - and located on the East bound side of the Western Highway, this is a popular wayside stop for travellers between Adelaide and Melbourne.

There are toilets here, and when the "Driver Reviver" is open, there are drinks available.

Stop for a breather on your travels, and if you've got time, locate the geocache. :-)

ADULTS: Please be mindful of the highway nearby, the terrain, and the proximity of the river to the wayside stop if kids are present.

There are bitumen roads all around this area, so no need to go off roading, but, you will need to park and walk to get to this cache. (Can park within about 50 metres of cache location)

I would not recommend attempting this cache during, or just after heavy rainfall. Terrain will be very slippery.

(People with mobility issues may find this cache difficult to access. Sorry about that!)

KIDS: Cache is kid friendly, and there is room for small swaps.

Please follow all road signs in regards to entering and exiting this location.

You are looking for a small white screw top container.
Logbook and pencil included.
