This is a favourite place of mine, and might not be well known, even to locals.
There are two approaches to this, the first is via the main entry point to this path, it takes a bit longer, but you can attempt the entire walkway. You can park at Smith St. off Dumbarton Road, or on South St. and if you wander up from Whiteinch Bowling Club towards Dilwara Avenue, you will see the signs for the path to Loch Lomond, starting at the broken railway bridge entrance to what once used to be a railway line, and now has been turned into a walkway/cyclepath going all the way to Clydebank. Glasgow's own "Highline". There are paths down to the street level all the way along
The cache is about 5 bridges along, the first abandoned station platform you come to from this approach.
The second approach is less of a walk, from a path going up from street level from Primrose Street to the walkway, turn right towards the same.
The cache is a traditional medium sized container.
Be wary of cyclists zipping past, and overlooking muggle houses. And nettles.
---Well done AMAZO on being FTF. I was wary that my phone GPS wasn't as good as proper one, so appreciate the input, and will update the co-ordinates accordingly. -----update 19/9/15 after being in stealth mode for a month or so, this has been moved to somewhere slightly more discrete to avoid mugglerization. it's camouflaged. more danger of thorns and nettles. Please be discrete to avoid onlookers.
