Călătorule, ai ajuns în acest loc minunat, bucură-te de el cu cei dragi ţie şi ajută şi tu puţin în a-l păstra mai curat. Ia o pungă din această cutie, adună "urmele civilizaţiei" şi du-le cu tine jos, în oraş.
Cascada Cailor este cea mai înaltă şi una dintre cele mai frumoase cascade din România, fiind formată pe versantul nordic al Munţilor Rodnei, în apropierea staţiunii turistice Borşa. Apa rezultată din topirea zăpezii şi din ploi se adună într-un circ glaciar şi de acolo de pe versantul abrupt al Rezervaţiei Piatra Rea se prăvăleşte în jos formând cascada, în mai multe trepte cu căderi succesive de 40 m, apoi 20 m şi din nou 40 m. Numele cascadei vine de la un incident tragic: o turmă de cai aflată pe păşunile Muntelui Piatra Rea a fost atacată pe furtună de un urs, ca urmare animalele speriate căzând în prăpastie. De atunci localnicii, marcaţi de eveniment, au început să folosească numele de Cascada Cailor.

The Horse's Waterfall is the highest and one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Romania, found on the northern slopes of the Rodnei Mountains, nearby the Borşa mountain resort. The water from the snowmelt and the rains gathers in a glacier valley and then goes over the abrupt slopes of Piatra Rea reservation, dropping in several segments, 40, 20 and then again 40m high. The name of the waterfall comes from a sad event: a horse herd, on the pastures of Piatra Rea Mountain was cornered by a bear in the storm, some of the horses collapsing over the cliffs. Marked by this event, the locals have started calling the waterfall the Horse's Waterfall.
