In June 2012, the Oak Ridge Town Council voted to annex the northern portion of the Cascades Preserve, a 130 acre nature preserve, as part of an agreement between the town and Guilford County. The southern part of the preserve was already within the town limits. This agreement was made to add to the recreational “opportunities” in Oak Ridge. I read that as a Geocaching opportunity.
The caches you are seeking vary in difficulty, terrain and size and they have been placed so you can experience this hidden jewel of Guilford County. This cache is a small LnL container uphill from the trail. The coords seem to bounce in this area so look for the twins... This cache actually contains an FTF prize.
