Alturas Lake has been a long time Family camping destination for my wife's family, my mother in law has been visting and camping here since she was 4 years old (92) at the time of placement. The last two trips we have made there my youngest son has talked about placing a cache.
This is a very remote area but easily accessible. Just a short walk up the inlet creek.
