Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the listed coordinates!

This is the 6th and final in a series of Walleye fishing themed puzzle caches that I'll be putting out. I've learned alot about catching these elusive creatures and so I thought I'd mix a little of my fishing hobby with my caching hobby. The puzzles will not be real easy but, they are all very solvable. Once you've figured the puzzle out you can set the hook, reel the cache in, net it, take a picture, and then set it free for others to find.

The Topic: Location, Location, Location

One of the toughest decisions to make, when it comes to walleye fishing, is picking a place to go. Walleye fishing is quite tedious and is very strategic. The weather is a key ingredient when choosing a river or lake system to fish. When the weather is fluctuating a river system is usually a good choice as the water temperature, clarity, and current don't shift or change very quick. This allows for a pattern to 'hang' for a day or two and will keep the fish behavior a little more predictable. A lake system, on the other hand, will change much quicker due to heat, cold, wind, rain, etc... The thermocline in some lakes are a key component to finding fish and will change daily. All these subtle changes affect 'the bite' one way or another. Regardless of where you fish you have to be mobile and seek out those hungry pods of fish. Having an array of equipment and techniques is key to being successful. Finding the location and that 'spot on the spot' is part of the thrill. Similar to Geocaching, electronics are used to help find fish and works similar with regard to GPS usage. There are other tools available as well: Chart Plot, Sonar, Side Scan, and Down Scan are all electronic tools used to help narrow down the possibilities. To solve the puzzle: Figure out the name of a few places I've fished and a few places I dream to go some day to hook into some trophy fish. Run a little math to find the 'spot' where the cache is hidden.
