Summer is in full swing, school is reinstating, and the best season for geocaching (Autumn) is right around the corner! Let's celebrate this transition with a down-home get-together out at the amazing Towns Bluff park down by the river on the outskirts of Jeff Davis County.
We will be playing some geocaching games during the event, and I have a geocoin or two to give out as prizes.
Event schedule - 10:00am - 12:00pm : Meet & Greet and Games 12:00pm - 1:00pm : Picnic Lunch (If you choose to stay), with dessert provided :)
Bring your own picnic lunch to eat after the entertainment. I will provide some dessert :)
Primitive camping is free, if you feel like coming out Friday night and spending the night. If you RV, there's an RV site with hookups that charges a small fee.
There are no parking fees, so this event need not cost you anything except time and fuel to get here!
As there are covered picnic areas, the event will proceed rain or shine! (Some games may be altered if there's rain).
